A Gallant effort, and a Price too high

In one of the more entertaining games of the year, the Montreal Canadians squeaked out a 3-2 win over the Las Vegas Golden Knights. Gerard Gallant's group made it close, but the Habs still prevailed. Charlie Lindgren got another win and is now 5-0 to start his NHL career. He is the first goalie since Wayne Thomas in 1972-73 to start his career with win's in his first 5 games as a Hab.
I have to say, Las Vegas is going to be a competitive team this year. (if they don't keep losing their goalies to injury) Gerard Gallant is one of my favourite coaches out their, and he always gets the best out of his players. Vegas is very lucky to have him as a coach, and that is why I feel that Vegas could be a wild card this season, and might even surprise a few teams, should they make it to the playoffs.
Now let's talk about Montreal. They had a brutal start to the season, but are now 5-1 in their last six games. Brendan Gallagher has stepped up his game, Max Pacioretty is scoring, and Shea Weber is finally showing his worth. So all is good right? Well, not exactly. There is still something fishy going on behind the scenes. Everything doesn't appear to be "rosey" in the locker room. There clearly is still some division. I still feel that there are two groups. Two seperate entities existing witin the Montreal's team. You have Max Pacioretty and his gang on one-side, and Price and his gang on the other.
Now Carey Price has not had a good start to the season, and I don't think it is do his "lack" of talent. I believe it has alot to do with this division. Also I wouldn't be surprised if he is still upset that Subban was traded. There is alot of unknown things going on here, and his "injury" is part of the cover-up. Could this be the end of Price's run in Montreal? I hope not, because Montreal does need him. Still, there are definite signs of "friction". The same sort of friction that surrounded P.K.Subban. (and we all know what happened with him)
For now, Montreal fans should enjoy their teams recent success. If Lindgren continues to win, it will stir the pot even more....
