While the current Montreal roster flounders, former Habs are flourishing

The Montreal Canadians are currently off to one of the worst starts in team history. In 8 games they have only 1 win. That win came in the shootout, so they currently have ZERO wins in regulation time. (Ouch, that one has got to hurt) What is even more painful for Habs fans is to see three former Habs having early season success. Let's take a look close at these players.
1) Mikhail Sergachev: Tampa Bay (Defense) GP 9 G 3 A 5 Pts 8
- Montreal gave up this defensive stud in order to get Jonathan Drouin. Drouin has been the only bright spot for Montreal this season, so the deal has worked out for both teams. However, it still has to sting a bit for Habs fans to see Sergachev doing so well.
2) P.K. Subban Nashville (Defense) GP 8 G 1 A 6 Pts 7
- Subban is off to a hot start with the Predators, and Shea Weber has been struggling with Montreal. The gravity of how foolish this trade was, is coming full circle. Weber is on the decline, while Subban is in the prime of his career. Just imagine Habs fans, you could have had a Sergachev/Subban tandem on the blueline.
3) Sven Andrigetto Colorado (Right Wing) GP 8 G 3 A 3 Pts 6
-Alright, I know what you are thinking. Andrigetto is playing of the top line of the Av's. So he is playing with Matt Duchene. So his number might be inflated. However, Andrigetto has been given the oppurtunity to show his skill. Something he never really got in Montreal. In 19 games last year, Sven had 16 points with Colorado. So he has thrived in a place, where there is real no pressure for him. If you did watch Adnrigetto with the Habs, you surely saw the talent he had. It is just a shame that management in Montreal didn't give him the chance to succeed.
So there you have it. Three former Habs that are flourishing, while the Montreal team is floundering. Maybe Montreal could call the league and ask for a "Mulligan" for these three awful trades... Ouppss this is reality, so I guess that is not possible. Sorry Habs fans, you will have to live with these follies from your GM. (Who might not be the GM for very much longer)..
