It's time again for the Weekly Warrior. This weeks recipient is Jeff Skinner from the Carolina Hurricanes
Let's have a look at his statistics for his season:
GP=69
G =29
A =24
Pts =53
GWG =3
PPG =8
Plus/Minus = -6
ATOI: 17:42
-Jeff Skinner has always been a talented player. He has had a few setbacks in his NHL career, due to injuries, but he has been healthy the last 2 seasons. Skinner is on pace for another 30 goal season, which is quite impressive. The great thing about Skinner is that he is only 24 years old, and already is in his 7th NHL season. He is natural goal scorer, and the future captain of the Hurricanes.
The Hurricanes are loaded with young talent, and Skinner leads the way with his dynamic skills and work ethic. He is one source of scoring that the Hurricanes should keep and invest in. The Hurricanes are making a late season push for the playoffs, and Skinner has played a big part of that. In the past 11 games he has had 9 goals and 13 assists for 22 points. The Hurricanes are 10-1 during that period.
Jeff Skinner is a vital part of the Canes franchise, and he is quickly becoming one of the more fun players to watch in the NHL. If the Canes some how make the playoff, watch out!! As Skinner and company could be very dangerous.
