Today's post marks an important milestone for the Blog, my 100th post!!! To celebrate this moment, I thought I would do something a bit different. (while still keeping a hockey theme) So today I will share with you some of the hockey sites that I use on a daily basis. Sites that I use to find information about players, and where I get all my statistics from.

The beauty of the internet, is that there is so much information out there for any passion. It is just a matter of finding them. So here is a list of some of the hockey sites that I frequent:

1) Hockey Reference

- The best site that I have found to get advanced statistics on NHL players. Very easy site to work with, and you can get detailed statistical information on active and retired players.

2) Hockey db

- Literally a hockey shrine for me! Draft picks, player listing. Junior hockey, European. As a collective point, probably the best site to get anything that you need hockey related.

3) Daily Faceoff

-Best site to find updated roster and line change moves. Also best site to see whether player is injured, back from injury, or scratched from a lineup.

4) Hockey Writers

- Best site to find information on prospects, and young talent. In depth analysis of players. A real hockey fan's fantasy.

5) Elite Prospects

-Another site chock full of statistics and player analysis. Not as robust as hockey reference, but still a nice site.

6) Cap Friendly

- Team Salary and player contract status.. A must for those interested in seeing who is a UFA and RFA.

So there are some of the sites that I frequent and where I get alot of my inspiration from. I want to again thank all of those that have visited my blog, and I am always looking for feedback.
