-After a brutally slow start to the season, Forsberg has been on fire of late. He had back-to-back hat tricks near the end of February, and has 11 goals and 5 assists in his last 10 games. He has played a crucial role in the Predators resurgence.

This is Forsberg's 3rd full NHL season, and he is on pace for another 60 points. (He had 63 points in 2014-15 and 64 points last year) He has quickly become a force in the NHL. Players that can put up those kind of totals, year in and year out are very rare in today's NHL.

At 22 years old, Forsberg is still very young, and there is no telling how far his talent can go.The Predators are currently 3rd in their division, and are only 4 points of the St.Louis Blues. If the Predators are going to get in the playoffs, they will need Forberg to be in top form. Currently that is what he is doing, and if it stay that way, watch out for this team in the playoffs.
