It's time again for the "Weekly Warrior". Today we take a look at the surging Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks.
Let's have a look at his statistics for his season:
GP=61
G =23
A =40
Pts = 63
Plus/Minus = 9
EV goals (Even Strength) =19
ATOI: 21:31
Although Patrick Kane might not be on a record pace like last year, he is still having a great season. He has been on fire of late, and had a hat-trick against the Coyotes last night. (His 3rd of his career) Strange, I thought somepne like Kane would have more career hat tricks???
Anyways, it appears Kane will be on his way to another 30 goal season. If that is the case, it would be his 3rd of his career. One thing that strikes out about Kane this year is his lack of PP Goals. (only 4) Compare that to last years 17 PPG, and you can see why Kane has not had as much of a statistical success as last year.
However, like I mentioned before, he is on fire of late, and so is his team. So who knows what type of numbers he can put up in the last 20 games of the season. Even more so, watch out when the playoffs start, because that is where Kane really starts to shine.
