Captain Cool is starting to heat up!

Watch out NHL.... Jonathan Toews is on fire, and that is a bad thing for the rest of the league. Captain of the Chicago Blackhawks, Toews had a slow start to the year. However, he has 5 goals and 7 assists in that last 6 games. Most importantly, the Hawks have won 5 of those 6 games.

There is no denying that Captain Serious in one of the greats of the game. A true leader, who might not ever win a Rocket Richard Trophy, but there is plenty of "Hart" in him. He is great faceoff man as well, stays disciplined and in my mind, is currently the best captain in the league. Try to find a captain that can do all the things that Toews does... You won't find one. Period.

The best thing about Toews he is always Mr. Cool. Always calm. He is not a flashy player. He is not going to trash talk, or spout endless nonsense. He just goes out there, plays the game he loves, and gets the job done.

Last night against the Wild, Toews had 3 goals and 2 assists. See the video below to see his performance:

As you can see, he is calm, just another goal, but most importanly, another win.

The Hawks, and Toews are on a roll. That is great news for Blackhawks fans, and this could be the start of another Cup run for them. There are an exciting team to watch, and an example of how a team should play. Heart and soul, a complete team effort.
