Granlund is having a career year with Minnesota. He has already surpassed his best career season, and we still have 30 games left to go. Much like the team itself, Granlund has made the best of the opportunities given to him. He has helped rejuvenation Eric Staal, and is finally living up to the expectations of him, when Minnesota drafted him 9th overall in the 2010 draft. His Plus/Minus is very impression, and his ATOI is also equally note worthy.

Granlund currently makes $3 Million a year, which is cheap for someone of his talent. However, he is a RFA at the end of this season, so expect him to get a big pay day! That might mean that he will be traded, or another team could throw a boat of money at him. He is only 24 years old, so he is a player that many team will be salivating to invest in.

Is Granlund a one hit wonder? Is he only performing well due to the teams general success? Or because this is his RFA season? Who knows... However, once thing is for sure. Granlund is a talented player, who his coming into his own. A player to watch for many years to com.
