Weekly Warrior: Brent Burns

It's time once again for the "Weekly Warrior". Today we look at the beast from the San Jose Sharks, Brent Burns.

Burns is dominating the NHL this years, he is by far and away the most production defenseman. He is 11 points ahead of the 2nd leading scoring defenseman Erik Karlsson. His 21 goals is stupendous for a rearguard. He could easily reach the 30 goal plateau, which has not been done since the likes of Mike Green.

Burns is doing all for the Sharks. He racks up HUGE minutes as well, and is in great physical condition. He truly has become one of the best offensive defenseman in the league. It is time he gets the recognition that he deserves. I have a feeling this could be the year for him to win his first Norris Trophy!!!

Keep an eye on this behemoth. There is still around 30 games to play in the season, and who knows what type of totals he will end up with.
