NHL Birthday Blog Battle: January 16th - January 22nd

Welcome to another Birthday Blog Battle, where we will be looking at birthday's of current/retired NHL players. As an added bonus, I will compare points between active players, and retired players. A Birthday Blog Battle of sorts. I personally think it is fun and interesting to find out when NHL players are born. Maybe you share a birthday with one of your favorite NHL stars! This will become a weekly blog article, so if you like this one, you will be happy to know that there will be more like it.

This week we start off by looking at birthday's from players born between January 16th-22nd. First we start with a list of active players:

January 16th:

So another battle, another victory by the retired stars! This one was not even close. As the retired stars has more goals than the total number of points by the active players. Of course, when you have players like Mike Bossy and Mark Messier on the list, your chancing of winning are slim.
