NHL Birthday Blog Battle: January 9th - January 15th

Welcome to another Birthday Blog Battle, where we will be looking at birthday's of current/retired NHL players. As an added bonus, I will compare points between active players, and retired players. A Birthday Blog Battle of sorts. I personally think it is fun and interesting to find out when NHL players are born. Maybe you share a birthday with one of your favorite NHL stars! This will become a weekly blog article, so if you like this one, you will be happy to know that there will be more like it.
This week we start off by looking at birthday's from players born between January 9th-15th. First we start with a list of active players:

-So for the first time ever, we don't have an active NHL player who celebrates their birthday on a day.

Another victory by the retired stars, but the active NHL players did put up a good fight. This was due mainly to two players. (Claude Giroux and Marian Hossa) Who together have contributed 1664 points! They also share the same birthday. Interesting..
