It is time once again for another "Weekly Warrior". This week we spotlight Tyler Toffoli from the Los Angeles Kings. One of the young stars of the league. Let's look at this stats for the season so far.

GP:22

G: 5

A:9

Pts: 14

Plus/Minus: 12

ATOI: 18:22

At first glance, these stats might not look impressive. However, the Los Angeles Kings are not a team that are going to score a lot of goals. Toffoli ranks second on the team on points, but leads them in the Plus/minus department. Actually Toffoli, who is only 24 years old, has been a +96 over his 5 year NHL career. This means he is very responsible. He scored 31 goals last year, so he can put the puck in the net as well . When you can have a player that is defensively responsible, and can net 30+ goals a season, you have a very special player.

His corsi/fenwick numbers are impressive. so far this season.

Corsi : 61.5

Fenwick: 61.1

As well, Toffoli is one of the best "Bang for your buck" players in the game. He currently makes $3.3 Million per season, which is low for a player of his caliber. He is a RFA at the end of the season, so expect him to get a serious pay raise next year.

Toffoli is the type of player that you can easily become a fan of. He is the the future of the Kings, and they better lock him up long term, if they want to continue to have success.

**FUN FACT*** Toffoli's nickname is "Top Titty". It was a nickname given to him during his rookie season by fellow linemates at that time Andy Andreoff and Linden Vey. The name was given to him because he scored alot of topself goals. Very interesting.
