Sorry Canuck fans, but your team is in serious trouble. Yes your teams started off well, but now they are winless in 6 games. If we look deeper in to the numbers game, you will see why the Canucks are in a downward spiral.

-First off, the team is not scoring. 17 goals in 10 games is not going to cut it. The Rangers Top 3 forwards just about have that amount of goals. They are well below the team averageof goals within the NHL (27.8 gpg)

- Excluding the game against Montreal last night, they are not getting enough shoots on nets. (260 shots through 10 games) Even worse is their 6.0 shooting %.

- The Sedin Twin's and Loui Eriksson have a total of 6 goals through 10 games. That is paltry results for your superstars. Bo Harvat is the sole bright spot with 4 goals this season. However, if your star players are not scoring, you are not going to win.

- The combined team +/- is -54. Ouch, that is not good at all!

- Their special teams are not helping either.... 3 PPG's on 33 attemps and a PK% of 83.33

- Ryan Miller is not getting the support he needs. Through 5 games Ryan Miller has an impressive 1.79 GAA. However he has only 1 win this season. His SV% of .934 is stellar as well. This is just another example of the Canucks not getting enough goals.

So yes, it is still early in the season. Yes, there is plenty of time for the Canucks to term it around. Nevertheless, the Canucks are serious trouble.
